There is no need to look too far back.

Consider the Ukraine-Russia war,

or the conflicts involving Iran, Israel, and the U.S.

Simply observe the evolution of these conflicts from their inception to the present day—

and the general trends that have emerged.

Naval fleets designed for open-ocean operations could not be deployed into the Persian Gulf or even the Red Sea.

Fixed naval and air bases—spanning areas over 1,000 kilometers in diameter—were completely destroyed.

Those who managed to conceal as many of their assets as possible, burying them deep, gained a significant advantage.

The ability of air forces to concentrate firepower has become far less effective than it once was.

Extended operational ranges, precision guidance, and the resulting accuracy have taken on critical importance.

Satellite intelligence and guidance capabilities have become absolutely vital.

High-volume, low-cost “swarm” attacks and/or saturation strikes have gained major significance.

Now, take a moment to reflect:

Are the Aegean Sea or the Eastern Mediterranean truly safe enough for an aircraft carrier strike group?

Even when protected by air defense systems, are naval assets and air bases sufficiently secure?

To what extent could a few dozen F-35s or Rafale jets actually shift the balance of power?

And, most importantly: how long can you keep your ammunition stockpiles fully replenished?
