There are different views regarding the origin of the Etruscans, these are:
According
to Herodotus (484-420 BC), the homeland of the Etruscans was
Lydia in
Anatolia.
Herodotus
I.94.
Dionysius
of Halicarnassus (60 BC-7 AD) considers the Etruscans to be
an
indigenous tribe that had existed in Italy since very
ancient
times.
Dionysius
of Halicarnassus I.26, 30.
The
Etruscans are an Indo-European tribe that came to Italy via
the
Alps.
H.
H. Scullard, The Etruscan Cities and Rome, Ithaca, New York
1979, p.
43.
The
Etruscans are a tribe native to Italy, formed as a result of
the
assimilation of all ethnic elements, both native and
foreign, in
Italy over a long historical and cultural process,
influenced by
various factors, thus acquiring a completely new identity.
Alain
Hus, The Etruscans, New York 1961, pp. 79, 80.
The
most well-known and widely accepted of these views is the
Eastern
view that considers the Etruscans to be of Anatolian origin.
Henry
Harrel-Courtés, Etruscan Italy, New York 1964, p. 10.
Using
genetic engineering, considered the science of the future,
an
anthropological study conducted in Italy in 2004 by thirteen
scientists led by Guido Barbujani, proving that the
Etruscans were a
biologically homogeneous people with a genetic maturity
level
comparable to modern societies, and that genetically they
were
related not to Italians living in Italy today, but to people
living
in the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa regions, has
given a
completely new impetus to the problem of origin and the
Eastern
perspective.

Vernesi et al., “The
Etruscans: A Population-Genetic Study”,
American Journal of Human Genetics, LXXIV/4, 2004, pp.
694-704.
The
name Tursha appears in Egyptian inscriptions as Trsˇ.w,
which is
pronounced as Toorshah.
Massimo
Pallottino, op. cit., p. 55.
The
Etruscans were called Tyrrhenoi, Tyrsenoi by the Greeks; and
Tusci,
Etrusci by the Romans, while they themselves gave themselves
the name
Rasna, Rasenna, referring to the name of one of their
leaders.
Halicarnassus
Dionysius I.30; Otto-Wilhelm Von Vacano, The Etruscans in
the Ancient
World, New York 1960, p. 1.
Herodotus,
in his work Historia, writes that a group led by Tyrrhenus,
son of
Atys, king of Lydia, migrated to Italy by sea due to a
famine, and
took the name Tyrrhenians in his honor.
Herodotus
I.94.
The
Atyad dynasty, which took its name from Atys, son of the god
Manes,
was founded by the Hittite king IV. He was contemporary with
Tuthaliya (1250-1220 BC).
Veli
Sevin, “Lydians”,
Anatolian Civilizations-Visual Anatolian History

Istanbul 1982, p. 278.
In
Anatolia, as Herodotus mentioned in the 2nd millennium BC,
famine
frequently occurred due to severe droughts.
Interview
with Elif Tül Tulunay, “An
Eastern People Who Lived in Italy in Antiquity: The
Etruscans”,
Science and Utopia, CXXXVIII, 2005, p. 11.
This
situation can be traced in texts belonging to the Hittites.
In 1211
BC, the fact that the Egyptian pharaoh Merneptah Siptah
(1219-1210
BC) helped the Hittites by sending ships full of grain is an
indication of this event.
Ali
Muzaffer Dinçol, op. cit., p. 51.
Dendrochronological
research also supports the fact that rainfall was far below
normal
during this period, meaning that drought prevailed. For
example, the
thin tree rings on a piece of wood found in Gordion and
dated to 1200
BC are evidence of this.
Elif
Tül Tulunay, op. cit., interview, p. 11.
Because
trees form a new ring on their trunks every year. This ring
is thick
in years with abundant rainfall and thin in years with
little
rainfall. This method helps determine when the trees were
planted and
what the climate was like in previous years.

Goff, Archaeology (trans. Nejat Ebcioğlu), Istanbul 1979, p.
21.
Furthermore, swords found in tombs in Populonia, an Etruscan city, resemble swords used by the Hittites in the Battle of Kadesh (1285 BC); daggers resemble those found in Enkomi on the island of Cyprus, dating to the late 13th and early 12th centuries BC; and some weapons resemble weapons found in the Talish region between the Caucasus and the Caspian Sea.
Again,
the heavy hand axes found in the western coastal region of
Italy,
especially in Pozzuoli, Civita Vecchia, and Rome, resemble
the heavy
hand axes found scattered throughout Central Anatolia, some
of which
are identical to the examples from the Troy VIIb layer,
dated to
1240-1100 BC.
G.
A. Wainwright, op. cit., pp. 203, 204.
The
Troy VIIb layer, on the other hand, has two sub-layers:
1-VIIb1
(1240-1190 BC), 2-VIIb2 (1190-1100 BC).
It
is determined that the tribes that participated in the
Aegean
Migrations and fought against the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses
III
(1198-1167 BC) resided in the settlement of layer VIIb2.
Ekrem
Akurgal, Anatolian Civilizations, Istanbul 1995, p. 247.
The
word Troia, however, cannot be explained by Anatolian
languages or
Greek.
However,
the Etruscan word truia means labyrinth, which carries a
meaning
befitting the historical identity of Troia.
Wilhelm
Brandenstein, “The
Present Situation of the Etruscan Question”,
II. Turkish History Congress, IX/2, Istanbul 1943, p. 214.
The
fact that a part of the Memphis Necropolis in Egypt,
reserved for
foreigners, was named Rasetau is also noteworthy in terms of
establishing a connection between the names Rasenna and
Tursha.
Elif
Tül Tulunay, op. cit., interview, p. 15.
In
this context, it is possible that the migrating community in
Herodotus' account was a small group of the Tursha, the
ancestors of
the Etruscans, who were the creators of the dominance and
culture
established in Italy in the 8th century BC, and this event
should be
placed at the end of the 13th century BC.

The concept of imperium,
which
can be defined as the authority to exercise state power, to
give

Etruscans not
only in a philosophical sense but also in form.

The wolf motif in the

Rome adopted the Latin

from the Etruscans, and a certain number of words were
transferred
from Etruscan to Latin.
For
example, the Latin words histrio (actor), subulo (flutist),
atrium

character),
etc., are of Etruscan origin.

A written example of the

M. T. Cicero, T. Livius,
Marcus Annaeus Seneca (55 BC-AD 37),
Gaius Plinius Secundus (AD 23-79),
Ambrosius Theodosius Macrobius (first quarter of the 5th century AD),
Ioannes Laurentius Lydos (490-552 AD),
Lucius Mestrius Plutarchus (AD 46-126),

It
is mentioned in small fragments in his works.

— For example, L. M. Plutarchus, in his work Vitae Parallellae/Theseus & Romulus (Parallel Lives/Theseus & Romulus), writes in detail how Romulus (753-715 BC), the founder and first king of Rome, established the city of Rome according to Etruscan Disciplina.
Plutarchus XI. In T. Livius’s work entitled Ab Urbe Condita, the account of the debates in the Senate during the formation of the Leges Liciniae-Sextiae (Licinius-Sextius Laws), which came into existence in 367 BC as a result of the initiatives of the plebs tribunes G. Licinius Stolo and L. Sextius Lateranus, and which paved the way for plebs to become consuls, shows how important a place the avispicium occupied in the Roman world, both in the past and present.
Again, in the same work, T. Livius records that during the Latin War which took place in 340 BC, the Roman army offered a sacrifice before going into battle, and that the haruspex who examined the liver of this sacrifice informed the consuls of that time, T. Manlius Torquatus and P. Decius Mus, that the liver was in its usual position, and that the Roman army, having received this sign, believed that the gods were on their side and went into battle.
Livius VI.41 & VIII.6. According to Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus’s (69-140 AD) work, De Vita Duodecim Caesarum (The Lives of the Twelve Caesars), which discusses the death of the first Roman emperor, G. O. Augustus, and his subsequent deification, the fact that the first letter of his name (Caesar), C, was erased from the inscription on his statue due to a lightning strike was interpreted as meaning that he only had a hundred days left to live and that he would attain godhood after his death.
Because,
besides the use of the letter C for the number 100, the
remaining
aesar from the name Caesar means god in Etruscan.
(Suetonius
II.97.)
— M. According to the writing in T. Cicero’s De Divinatione (On Divination), the emergence of these books occurred as follows:
“Tages, grandson of Tinia [Iuppiter/Zeus (ruler of all gods and God of the Heavens)], who was as small as a child but as white as an old man with a wrinkled face, emerged from under the earth in a furrow made by a plow while a farmer was plowing his field in Tarquinii.
Afterwards, he conveyed the secret teachings to the Etruscan kings and disappeared back under the earth.
The
secret teachings of Tages were written down and recorded.”
(Raymond
Bloch, The Etruscans, London 1958, p. 143.)
—
The Etruscans had larger
and
bloodier limbs than all other limbs in the body. Therefore,
they
believed that the center of life was the liver, not the
heart.

—
A staff with a similar
form was
also used by rulers and religious figures in Anatolia, for
example,
it can be observed in the orthostats of Alaca Höyük and in
the
reliefs of the Hittite Imperial Period (1450-1200 BC), and
